Caligo Pt.2 launches strongly in Japan. It debuts at No. 3 on Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart. Furthermore, it reaches No. 8 on Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums chart. It also lands at No. 29 on Billboard Japan’s Download Albums chart.

This is an album we made with the happiness of PLLI, our fandom, in mind. Every member puts a lot of thought into creating something that PLLI would truly be satisfied with. It means so much to us, and we’re so grateful, that the songs you’re listening to right now are brightening your day. We worked very hard to show you how much we’ve grown. From the powerful rock-based title track to a song that brings back the 90s vibes, to an a cappella track – five songs carry five different colors. Please give PLAVE’s Caligo Pt.2 a lot of listen!

In the following week, PLAVE expands its presence globally. “Born Savage” enters the Billboard Global 200 at No. 172. In addition, every track from Caligo Pt.2 charts on Billboard Global Excl. US. “Born Savage” ranks highest at No. 62. “Think I Am” follows at No. 89. “HMPH! (feat. SOLE)” reaches No. 94. “Blossom Parade” lands at No. 103. “Lunar Hearts” closes the list at No. 115.

The group releases the digital album on April 13. The physical version follows in Japan and other regions on April 14, then in the U.S. on April 17.

PLAVE continues to set new records in physical sales. According to Hanteo Chart, Caligo Pt.2 surpasses 1.2 million first-week sales. This marks the group’s highest opening week to date. Their previous record came from PLBBUU, which sold 1.09 million copies in its first week.

Moreover, PLBBUU previously ranked just behind BTS’ “Butter” in single-album first-week sales history. With Caligo Pt.2, PLAVE also secures No. 3 on the Oricon Chart Weekly Album Ranking for April 27.

PLAVE consists of YEJUN, NOAH, BAMBY, EUNHO, and HAMIN. PLAVE operates under VLAST. The group blends virtual character design, storytelling, and self-produced music.

Furthermore, members YEJUN, NOAH, and EUNHO handle writing, composition, and production. BAMBY and HAMIN lead choreography and performance direction. This structure supports a fully self-producing creative model.

PLAVE debuted in March 2023 with “ASTERUM.” Since then, the group has achieved multiple chart milestones. In addition, they became the first virtual idol group to top major music charts and win music show awards. Their latest success reinforces their growing global reach and continued evolution in the K-pop industry.
