ONE OR EIGHT achieve global momentum with “TOKYO DRIFT,” earning Mediabase U.S. Top 40 success while expanding their international presence through bold pop innovation.

Fresh from a weekend of high-profile appearances across Asia, Japanese pop group ONE OR EIGHT stood alongside major names in fashion, film, and music at the GQ Hong Kong x Vogue Hong Kong “Double Vision” gala.

The event brought together global stars, including BABYMONSTER, Paris Jackson, and members of MIRROR. Further highlighting the group’s growing cultural presence. Soon after, ONE OR EIGHT energized audiences at Tokyo Girls Collection Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, a large-scale event that merges runway fashion, youth culture, and live performances. Through these appearances, the group reinforced its expanding influence across Asia’s entertainment scene.

Moreover, ONE OR EIGHT achieved a new international milestone by becoming the Japanese boy group with the most entries on the Mediabase U.S. Top 40 chart. Their latest single, “TOKYO DRIFT,” debuted at No. 38, following the earlier success of “DSTM.” This accomplishment signals increasing global recognition and reflects the group’s steady growth in international markets.

“GATHER” Showcases Bold Sound and Expanding Global Reach

At the center of this success is GATHER, ONE OR EIGHT’s most ambitious release to date. In addition, their collaboration “KAWASAKI (with Big Sean)” climbed to No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Top Rap & Hip-Hop Songs chart. The release also led to their first red carpet appearance at the U.S. VMAs, marking an important step onto the global stage.

ONE OR EIGHT is an eight-member boy group composed of MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA, and YUGA. Their name draws inspiration from the Japanese expression ichi ka bachi ka, which reflects an “all or nothing” mindset.
