NAQT VANE released a new digital single, “Breathe,” a song that wants listeners to take it slow.
NAQT VANE new song, “Breathe,” was released on July 24, 2026. It explores the relentless noise of anxiety and the overthinking that can make people feel alone.
As the collective’s 10th digital single, “Breathe” captures the overwhelming state of anxiety when no clear signal remains beneath the noise. Its repeated phrases mirror the rhythm of forced, controlled breathing, turning the song into a reminder to pause and breathe through the chaos.
While fragments of thoughts cut across a feeling that keeps sinking, with just the faintest pull trying to drag it back up. The track never resolves anything, and it isn’t trying to. It just holds the discomfort as it is, giving it shape.
The music video pushes for the same idea, as it is set in a world where even breathing isn’t allowed. It follows the group through striking, high-impact choreography, every member in special-effects makeup that matches the track’s darker tone. Recurring imagery built around breath. Time seems to stop, run through the video, run up to its final frame.
Besides the vulnerable message, “Breathe” will be the theme song for Hulu original drama “Yagami Eiko: Ueno Chuo Police Station Organized Crime Division.” In addition, it will be Meisa Kikuchi’s first leading role in 11 years. An English version will follow on August 21.
NAQT VANE is a music collective consisting of Hiroyuki SAWANO as the total producer, Yunoa as the Vocalist, Risa and KANA as performers, and the five-member dance creative group SWOOGZ (SEIYA, HARUKA, SHUKI and RYUSEI). Classic 6 is in charge of Art Direction for the collective’s brand.
The collective is known for their genre-defying pop, electronic elements, and powerful vocal performances. They blend energetic beats, atmospheric melodies, and thought-provoking lyrics. The project quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach to music.
Moreover, it was only recently when NAQT VANE expanded their expressive scope with the addition of seven performers. Now they incorporate dance as a form of physical expression, bringing music to life in a more visual and embodied way. This evolution marks the beginning of a new chapter, as the project moves them forward as a performance collective.
