On April 22, moviegoers will get to experience the meteoric rise of the King of Pop. Additionally, the film will explore his early days as the lead vocalist of The Jackson 5. Up until his legendary solo career in the 80s. The plot synopsis of the film goes as follows:

Highlighting both his life off-stage and some of the most iconic performances from his early solo career, the film gives audiences a front-row seat to Michael Jackson as never before. This is where his story begins.

Michael Jackson biopic – Director, cast, and other details
In his acting debut, Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s real-life nephew, will portray his uncle. With Juliano Krue Valdi as the young version. Colman Domingo and Nia Long play Joe and Katherine Jackson, respectively.

Moreover, Kendrick Sampson plays Michael’s producer Quincy Jones. Miles Teller plays entertainment lawyer John Branca. Lastly, Kat Graham, Laura Harrier, and Jessica Sula are cast as Diana Ross, Suzanne de Passe, and La Toya Jackson, respectively.
Antoine Fuqua will serve as the film’s director. He is known for directing films such as Training Day and The Equalizer trilogy. John Logan serves as the writer, and Graham King serves as the producer of the film.
