Renowned dancer Ken San Jose will play Mark Anthony in the Manila run of the beloved Broadway classic A Chorus Line. Produced by Theatre Group Asia, the show runs Thursdays to Sundays from March 12–29 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater.
Ken San Jose, one of today’s most visible young dance artists, rose to fame through viral TikTok choreography and regular appearances on ASAP. Now, he returns to his theater roots. While many know him for contemporary dance and social media, few realize he grew up performing in theater alongside his dance training. For Ken, the stage has always been home.
That connection resurfaced last year when he appeared in Joseph the Dreamer, sharing the stage with Sam Concepcion and Gary Valenciano. The experience reignited his love for musical theater. When he had the chance to audition for A Chorus Line, Ken fully committed. To meet the show’s rigorous demands, he trained intensively in jazz and ballet, honing both technique and stamina to match Broadway standards.

Joining the cast is Filipino-American actor Conrad Ricamora, best known as Oliver Hampton on How to Get Away with Murder. A Tony-nominated stage actor, Ricamora has appeared in major Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, including Here Lies Love, The King and I, and Little Shop of Horrors, adding global theater experience to the ensemble.
Moreover, the show is directed by Emmy Award–winning choreographer Karla Puno Garcia, recognized for her work on the 76th Tony Awards.
