Portland-based artist Kathryn Grimm is back with a new single to brighten your days and yearn for love, “Say Goodbye to the Blues”
On February 1, Kathryn Grimm officially released the feel-good single, “Say Goodbye to the Blues.” Staying true to its title, her newest track radiates light in the best way possible. It washes away any remnants of doubt, leaving behind a kinder, more lighthearted feeling of glee.
Kathryn started her career collaborating with music giants like Jeff Buckley and Michael Bolton. Since then, she continues to gain praise for her undeniable skills and artistry. Reputable publications, such as the LA Times, even described her as someone who “pummels crowds into a blissful heap.”
Your love’s the best feeling I’ve ever had
Watch me as I say goodbye to the blues
To the blues, to the blues, baby
Known for her guitar prowess, Kathryn doesn’t forget to give it the spotlight it deserves throughout the track. As shared by her, this pop-rock record evokes a feeling of bliss that lightens whatever heaviness you may feel:
Goodbye To The Blues is a feel-good song describing how effortlessly the joy brought on by being in Love can erase any sorrows. The Bliss – my favorite state to be in. It’s impossible not to be moved by the groove of the driving bass, the lilting melody and the message – Love and the Blues cannot coexist.
