Chloé Caroline and Jordan Anthony first connected in 2022 at a music industry conference in Los Angeles. From the start, they bonded over shared musical backgrounds, family influences, and a mutual love for emotionally driven pop.
Although their styles differ, her warm, reflective tone and his powerful, expressive delivery, they quickly recognized how naturally their voices complemented each other.
They wrote “Existing” across continents during a Zoom session, with Chloé in Los Angeles and Jordan in Australia. The idea began with a spontaneous line—“I love living in a world where you’re existing.” It sparked the song’s emotional direction. From there, Jordan built the piano arrangement.
