Love hits different after dark! Jade LeMac drops her new EP, It’s Always at Night.
Jade LeMac, one of pop’s most promising next-gen voices, is entering a new era of honesty, heart, and late-night introspection. The 20-year-old Vietnamese-Canadian artist has officially released her highly anticipated EP, It’s Always at Night, via Warner Music Canada and East West Records. It is a six-track exploration of love, loss, and self-discovery wrapped in her signature brand of emotional pop.

The EP, featuring “Running Home,” “Sleeping with the Lights On,” and the dreamy single “Intertwined,” showcases LeMac’s evolution from viral TikTok favorite to fully realized pop storyteller. Built on guitar-driven melodies and cinematic production by longtime collaborator JVP, It’s Always at Night dives deep into what happens when the world quiets down and emotions grow louder.
“It’s a story about a person who’s in love with love. There are songs for heartbreak, desire, and everything in between. Each one reflects how I’ve felt while being in love with someone,” LeMac explains.
The Sound of Nighttime Emotion
In It’s Always at Night, LeMac opens a window into the emotional intensity that comes after sundown. From the vulnerability of “Pink Balloon” to the haunting comfort of “Sweet Dreams,” each track captures the stillness (and chaos) that often coexist in moments of solitude.
“As soon as the sun goes down and it’s nighttime, I feel my emotions one hundred times harder. The title reflects how everything just hits deeper at night,” she says.
The project’s standout single, “Running Home,” continues to climb charts, cracking the Top 50 on U.S. Pop Radio and Top 40 in Canada. This is a major milestone for an artist steadily redefining pop’s emotional core. Alongside the EP, LeMac also unveiled a lyric video for “Intertwined.” The song is an airy, sentimental track that captures the rush and ache of connection.
From Bedroom Ballads to Global Stages
LeMac’s rise has been anything but ordinary. What began as short songwriting clips on TikTok has now translated into over 450 million global streams and 1.6 million followers on the platform. Her genuine approach and open advocacy for the queer community have earned her both critical acclaim and a deeply loyal fanbase, especially in Southeast Asia, where the Philippines ranks as her top streaming market, followed by Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

In just the past year, she’s performed at Lollapalooza, Osheaga, and opened for Maren Morris on her North American tour. Next up, she’s set to headline tours across Canada and Australia in 2026 and will perform at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball pre-show in New York City this December, joining a lineup that includes Ed Sheeran and Ravyn Lenae.
A New Kind of Pop Star
Her earlier works, including the Constellations and Confessions EPs, laid the foundation for this moment, where introspection meets evolution. It’s Always at Night feels like a culmination of LeMac’s artistic growth, a record that balances introspective storytelling with expansive, radio-ready hooks.

Jade’s connection to her identity as a queer Vietnamese-Canadian artist navigating love and belonging continues to shape her music’s emotional authenticity. It’s this unfiltered honesty that makes her more than just another rising pop act. She represents a new wave of artists reclaiming pop as a space for truth and representation.
What’s Next for Jade LeMac
As a new year of touring approaches, Jade LeMac stays true to her purpose — writing songs that capture emotion in its most honest and unfiltered form. It’s Always at Night opens a window into her inner world, where quiet moments turn into powerful reflections.
In these songs, LeMac trades bright lights for stillness, letting her words and melodies do the talking. It’s in those late-night silences, when everything slows and the noise fades, that her music finds its deepest strength.
Jade LeMac’s new EP, It’s Always at Night is now available on all major streaming platforms.
