Integra Pink unleash their genre-bending single “Spiderman Piñata,” blending punk, cumbia, disco, and hardcore while confronting political and social issues.

Southern California’s boundary-pushing band Integra Pink has returned with their most urgent release yet, “Spiderman Piñata,” out now via Futureless.

The track previews a new EP set for later this spring and signals the next evolution for a band that refuses to stay in one lane—musically or culturally. Blending cumbia rhythms, disco grooves, punk energy, and hardcore intensity, the song shifts seamlessly from a danceable groove into a full-throttle punk assault, mirroring the tension at its core.

Spiderman Piñata” is a song that takes inspiration from different places,” the band explains.

We love punk but we also love cumbias and disco and pop. So we tried to find a way to put these sounds together. Sonically, the song is scattered and bounces around, but lyrically it’s more pointed. I talk about the ongoing issue of ICE in the United States and the hypocrisy of those who support it—specifically the religious and Latinos who have turned their backs on their own.

Lyrically confrontational and unflinching, the track challenges performative empathy and political doublespeak, pairing vivid street-level imagery with a delivery that feels both personal and explosive.

Chaos, Creativity, and the Future of Integra Pink

Formed in Southern California, Integra Pink—Leo Mendez (vocals/guitar), Bardo Mendez (vocals/guitar), Nick Jauregui (drums), and Roman De La Fuente (bass)—have built their reputation on unpredictability. Drawing from punk, rock, new wave, Latin influences, and more, they treat each release as its own universe, rather than adhering to a fixed sound.

This ethos carries over to their live shows, where chaotic energy and genre fluidity make each performance feel more like an event than a concert. Offstage, the band’s DIY spirit continues through their PinkTv series, offering lo-fi, VHS-style glimpses into their world that blur the line between documentation and art.

“Spiderman Piñata” represents a turning point for Integra Pink—heavier, sharper, and more focused—while still embracing the band’s anything-goes creative DNA. With a new EP on the horizon and more music expected soon after, Integra Pink are entering their most ambitious phase yet, pushing themselves and their listeners into uncharted territory with every release.
