FKJ unveils his third studio album, Tyber, blending jazz, soul, electronic music, and live instrumentation ahead of his global tour.

French multi-instrumentalist, singer, and producer FKJ unveils Tyber, his highly anticipated third studio album. The 12-track record blends electronic music, jazz, soul, and live instrumentation. Moreover, it reflects years of travel, solitude, collaboration, and creative renewal.

FKJ combines piano, drums, saxophone, percussion, bass, guitar, and synths throughout the album. He uses electronic production to enhance the emotion and energy of live musicianship rather than hide it. As a result, each track explores a distinct sonic space while maintaining his signature approach to intricate arrangements, improvisation, and texture.

Before its release, FKJ introduced Tyber through exclusive listening parties around the world. Fans in Taiwan and Indonesia were among the first to hear the album.

A Collaborative and Global Creative Process

FKJ gradually revealed the album through a series of singles, beginning with “Soulmates.” The project also brings together an eclectic lineup of collaborators, including Baby Rose, Eryn Allen Kane, Bas, Labrinth, and Lucy Park.

Eryn Allen Kane lends her vocals to “I Want U,” while Labrinth contributes to “Little Little Voice.” Bas reunites with FKJ after their previous collaboration, and Baby Rose and Lucy Park add their own distinctive styles to the record. Together, these artists expand FKJ’s sound while complementing his instinctive musicianship.

FKJ recorded Tyber across London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil, and Mexico. The album’s visual campaign also mirrors its themes of movement and transformation. In a series of cinematic live films shot in Japan, FKJ performs while travelling through space aboard a spaceship. The visuals draw inspiration from his otherworldly home studio and create a connected world around the record.

FKJ Brings ‘Tyber’ to Southeast Asia

Following the album’s release, FKJ will embark on an extensive headline world tour across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Beginning in October, the tour will give audiences the chance to experience Tyber through his dynamic live performances.

FKJ

FKJ has already built a strong following across Asia. He made his Southeast Asian debut in Bangkok in 2016 before touring Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore in 2017. He returned in 2023 for an Asia tour that included Jakarta, Bali, Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore.

Throughout his career, FKJ has pushed the boundaries of French electronic music through live instrumentation, looping, improvisation, and layered production. His music draws from jazz, soul, classical, hip-hop, funk, rock, and electronic influences. With more than 4.6 million fans across platforms, over 4 billion global streams, and 2.5 million YouTube subscribers, FKJ continues to connect with listeners through his immersive musical and visual world.
