First Love is Never Returned have released their latest single, “Good Morning.” Moreover, the song was written as the theme for Good! Morning on TV Asahi, the weekday morning program that topped its 7 AM time slot in 2025 across all Japanese broadcasters.
Furthermore, inspired by the quiet rhythms of everyday mornings at home, “Good Morning” captures small but meaningful moments of daily life. In addition, the track features a bright, refreshing pop sound and draws on vocalist Kazuki Ishida’s musical background, including his vocal studies in New York.
While created for the program, the song retains the band’s signature storytelling. Moreover, it portrays ordinary mornings and the emotions they carry, balancing optimism with relatability.
Furthermore, the music video brings the song to life visually. Producer Yosuke Yamaguchi (koe Inc.) returns, and rising filmmaker Ao Inoue directs for the first time. Together, they create a warm, immersive look at the song’s morning-inspired atmosphere.
