Wonderful Moments Music Festival kicked off on February 7 at the SMDC Festival Grounds. It turned the open-air venue into a sea of light sticks, cheers, and nonstop energy. Fans gathered early, filling the grounds with anticipation as numerous P-pop artists took the stage.
They delivered performances that set the tone for an unforgettable weekend. From explosive opening numbers to crowd-singing moments that echoed across the venue. The first day proved that WMMF came ready to make noise—and make memories.

Opening Acts Set the Tone for Wonderful Moments Music Festival
The festival wasted no time diving into heartfelt and high-energy performances as the first wave of artists took over the stage. Earl Agustin opened with his signature warmth. Additionally, he serenades the crowd with “Tibok” and “Pag-ibig ng Ikaw at Ako,” instantly turning the vast SMDC Grounds into an intimate sing-along session. In addition, his smooth vocals and emotional delivery drew fans in. He proves that even in a massive venue, a love song can still feel personal.

Furthemore, Denise Julia shifted the mood with undeniable confidence, performing “B.A.D.” and “NVMD” with sleek choreography and commanding stage presence. She owned every second, balancing sultry vocals with sharp performance energy that had the crowd hyped and fully locked in. The transition from mellow to fierce felt seamless, showing the festival’s dynamic range right from the start.

Amiel Sol followed with a set that tugged at heartstrings, performing “Nahanap Kita,” “Ikaw Lang Patutunguhan,” and “Sa Bawat Sandali.” His tender vocals carried across the venue. Fans sang along as if each lyric was written just for them.

Alamat brought cultural pride and power to the WMMF stage with performances of “Maharani” and “LuzViMinda.” Their intricate choreography, striking visuals, and strong vocals turned the grounds into a full-on celebration of Filipino identity. Each member commanded attention, and the crowd responded with loud chants and synchronized light sticks that amplified the group’s impact.

In addition, Maxie Andreison then took the spotlight and completely owned it. She delivered fierce renditions of “Tado” and “Halika Na Lika Na,” blending charisma, humor, and undeniable stage presence in every beat. Furthermore, she surprised the audience with an a cappella version of “Dyosa.” Originally by Skusta Clee and famously remixed by Jhayvot G on TikTok—showcasing raw vocals that silenced the crowd before erupting into cheers.

Adie closed this segment with emotional resonance, performing “Kursunada” and “Tahanan.” His heartfelt delivery slowed things down in the best way. He gives the audience a moment to sway, sing, and soak in the lyrics.

The mix of cultural anthems, drag excellence, and soul-stirring ballads proved that Wonderful Moments Music Festival thrives on diversity and range.

The energy reached its peak when Sarah Geronimo took the stage, delivering powerhouse performances of “Kilometro” and “Tala.” Beyond her signature vocals, she wowed the crowd with sharp dance moves and impressive rapping skills, proving once again why she remains a P-pop icon. Fans sang, danced, and cheered along, fully captivated by her dynamic presence.

Gloc-9 followed with his unmistakable flow and lyrical storytelling, performing hits that had the audience nodding and vibing to every beat. Additionally, his sharp verses kept the energy high while reminding everyone of the power of Filipino rap.

Moreover, Dionela closed the artist’s performances with heartfelt emotion. He wrapped up the musical journey with captivating vocals that lingered long after the last note. The night ended in a dazzling fireworks display, perfectly complementing the festival’s flawless production. It leaves the SMDC Grounds glowing as Day 1 of WMMF came to a spectacular close.
