What a nice way to start the month of June as the nine members of TWICE share a heartwarming celebration of Oishi snacks and memories with Filipino ONCEs.
On June 1, TWICE delighted members of the press and a few lucky fans during the media conference with their collaboration with Oishi.
Welcomed with a colorful photo booth and special activities, the media conference happened at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Manila. As soon as the members appeared onstage, the group took a delightful trip down memory lane. TWICE reminisced about the members’ first encounter with Filipino fans back in 2019 for the Twicelights in Manila tour.
Additionally, the JYP Entertainment girl group expressed how heartwarming it was to see the passion and support of their PH Once, feeling comfortable and cherished by their vibrant energy.

TWICE Shares Each Member’s Favorite Oishi Snack
As part of the collaboration with Oishi, the members were divided into different units, each assigned a specific snack. Jihyo and Momo with the Spicy Oishi Prawn Crackers, Mina and Chaeyoung with the Oishi Pillows, Nayeon, Sana, and Tzuyu with the Oishi Potato Fries, and Jeongyeon and Dahyun with the Oishi Miggos.
They shared their favorite snacks, creating a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Miggos emerged as the top favorite, with Nayeon sharing a charming story about how she searched all over South Korea for it because it was so delicious. Sana added that Jeongyeon had given Miggos to the media in Korea, praising its irresistible taste.
Moreover, Dahyun displayed her knowledge about Oishi, recognizing it as the representative snack brand of the Philippines.

TWICE Members Share TMIs
When asked what sweet moment Mina and Chaeyoung have shared, they expressed that every time they are together becomes a sweet memory. Nayeon, Sana, and Tzuyu also reflected on the thoughtful gifts they received from their fellow members.
Notably, Momo had given Tzuyu a cute pajama set in a charming box for Christmas, while Jeongyeon gifted Nayeon an air purifier. Sana found it challenging to pick her favorite gift, but she mentioned that Mina had given her a beautiful watch, which brings joy to her life every time she sees it.
Despite not being fans of spicy foods, Jihyo and Momo were assigned a spicy snack. They humorously shared their efforts to make the spicy snack look delicious and natural during the filming of the advertisement.

TWICE Members Hope to Visit the Philippines More Often
When it came to Filipino cuisine, Jihyo admitted she hadn’t had the chance to try Filipino food properly. But she was eager to taste halo-halo, noting its similarity to bingsu.
Momo also showed off her newly learned Filipino phrase, “Maganda si Jihyo” (Jihyo is beautiful). The dancing machine then revealed her fanciness for prawn crackers. Jihyo also reminisced about her family vacation in the Philippines, where she had the chance to go snorkeling.
Finally, Chaeyoung shared her aspiration of winning an award with their recent album, a dream that has now come true. The members also revealed their plans to celebrate their debut anniversary. As their schedules are difficult to match, they decided to reserve a restaurant where all nine members can eat together and commemorate their achievements as a group.
The media conference for the Twice x Oishi Snacktacular Fan Meet also allowed the members to boast the Tagalog phrases they know. Specifically, Dahyun cheerfully introduces herself, “Ako si Dahyun.” She also brought laughter when she suddenly said “baliw,” which means crazy in Tagalog. Mina also bragged her new-learned expression, “Hay naku talaga!”
Meanwhile, TWICE previously visited the Philippines in 2023 for a two-day concert for the READY TO BE world tour at the Philippine Arena.
