ACT I: TALE
Thailand’s rising hidden gem, TALE, was the first to ignite the stage. The fans start to scream at the top of their lungs as soon as the lights go dim. They mesmerized the audience with their live vocal performance of “ดวงใจ” during the opening set.
Greeting the audience and mentioning that they both usually sang at the bar in Thailand. As they want to express how they perform, “We want to share who we are,” the vocalist Ponjang added. This is their first time performing in the Philippines.
TALE sang their originals, including หลอกตัวเอง, นิทาน, อีกเลย, ขอแค่เธอบอกมา (Are you ready?), and รอ (Stand by). Also, they performed their English songs, Falsely Moving On and Vivid Midnight.
In between performances, TALE casually chats with the crowd about the Tagalog words they learned, joking that they practice a lot to pronounce the word “salamat.”. They gave a remarkable performance as they sang the Tagalong song “Sana” by Filipino pop band I belong to the Zoo and “Imahe” by Filipino Indie band Magnus Haven.
Furthermore, they also performed English songs, such as “Kill Bill” by SZA, “Angel Baby” by Troye Sivan, “Deja vu” by Olivia Rodrigo, and “Cruel Summer” and “Style” by Taylor Swift.
In their final message, they expressed gratitude to the Filipino fans for their support and warm welcome. Ponjang said, “Thank you for being in our dream; I can’t wait to see you again,” as well as “Please remember TALE.” Additionally, Tanthai, the guitarist and vocalist, added “Salamat po.” Ending the show with a group photo with the fans.
