“TEN” 1st mini-album tracklist

The album consists of six songs, with one lead song, “Nightwalker.”

  1. The leading track of the mini-album, “Nightwalker,”  is an electronic pop dance song that follows a rhythmic beat that fans can surely enjoy. The song is accompanied by a seductive move, which highlights the performance of the song. According to an interview, TEN mentioned that the lyrics talk about everything that happens when midnight comes.
  2. “Water” is a Latin-inspired song that talks about a love that flows smoothly like water, expressing the person’s feelings for someone they love. “Dangerous” has a funky bass synth that listeners would surely enjoy. It’s as if Michael Jackson has released a new track and performance.

  3. The track “Dangerous” is a pop-funk song with a danceable beat that stands in stark contrast to the previous tracks. This is a genre that TEN has never attempted before, yet he flawlessly executes both the dance and vocal performances. With his backup dancers, he dominates the stage and showcases his remarkable range by effortlessly switching between several vocal styles in a single song.
  4. “On Ten” features sing-rapping and powerful instrumentals. Additionally, it is a spooky hip-hop track that, while decent, feels like it’s lacking something. TEN manages to stay on the beat of the track, and his technique is adequate, but his lighter and higher voice doesn’t quite have the flavor to carry a hip-hop song on its own. Nevertheless, it is still enjoyable to listen to this kind of genre, and TEN is really good for trying out unique genres like this track.
  5. “Shadow” is a melancholic pop song that evokes a sense of sadness. The verses are undoubtedly excellent, and TEN’s vocals are emotional and suitable for the song. However, the strange, deep, gravelly voice repeatedly saying “shadow” in every chorus of the track is more of a distraction than an addition to the song. The voice takes away from the smooth flow of the track, which is otherwise enjoyable.

  6. “Lie With You” is a perfect closing song with its laidback pop style that is chill and easy to listen to. A track that is perfect to listen to if you’re driving at night. Additionally, the song makes it the most accessible track to both commercial and new listeners.
