Nearing 10 years in the industry, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul finally releases her first full album with the title “Starlit of Muse.“

Moonbyul, the main rapper of the group MAMAMOO, released her first solo album, titled Starlit of Muse.

Moonbyul’s interview with The Korean Herald states that her first full album showcases that she is always trying new things to improve herself as an artist.

“I am fortunate to have established a character in the entertainment industry as a singer who has been active for 10 years. But to become a better artist, I hope to go beyond my limits.”

“As a member of Mamamoo, a group that consists of talented vocalists, I was not able to show off my vocal identity because I am in charge of rapping in the group. Listening to the lead tracks in my first solo LP, I want people to rediscover artist Moonbyul, who is not just good at rapping but also at singing.”

“I filled this album with tracks of diverse genres, as I thought that a studio album should be fun to listen to from beginning to end. I searched for composers that I wanted to work with for this album and asked them for songs.”

Starlit of Muse Album tracklist

The album consists of 12 songs, with two lead singles, “Think About” and “Touchin & Movin.”

1. 1. 1. Intro: WWUD (What would you do?) is a great starting song for the album. The song showcases Moonbyul’s main skill, which is rapping.
      2. Think About: This song is one of the lead singles of the album and has a dance beat to it. A great song dedicated to someone’s crush.
         
         
      3. TOUCHIN&MOVIN is the co-lead single, which also has a dance beat to it. It is about just giving in and moving with the song.
      4. Like a Fool: This song features a slower-paced beat; it can also be classified as an R&B song.
      5. Attention Seeker has an energetic beat; the song heavily uses electric guitar and drums, making it one of the rock songs on the album.
         
         
      6. NOLTO (Feat. HANHAE): The song tells the story of boredom and wanting to do something. It showcases that Moonbyul’s vocals are a great fit for R&B songs, and Hanhae’s rapping skills complement Moonbyul’s vocals well.
      7. After Sunset is one of the mellowest songs on the album. This song can qualify for a K-drama OST.
      8. Timeline: A relaxing song that can be used when on a chill drive outdoors.
         
         
      9. DARK ROMANCE is a darker and edgier song, that showcases Moonbyul’s rapping skills once again and her powerful vocals.
      10. GOLD is a song that tells the listener to focus and love themselves more. A great motivator.
      11. Memories (Feat. ONEWE) – It can be classified as another rock song because it heavily uses the electric guitar and drums. Because of that, the song delivers an emotional, but still energetic, approach to the listener.
          
          
      12. Without: This is another mellow song, like “After Sunset,” and it can also qualify as an OST for a K-Drama. Moonbyul proves that she can also sing slower songs.
