About the album
The title track, “How Can I Do,” stands out as hip-hop music with its funky rhythm and bass, conveying the album’s message. EVNNE’s new album, LOVE ANECDOTE(S), which was published on August 4th, literally translates to “anecdote about love” or “love story.”
Member Yoo Seungeon explained, “Actually, ‘How Can I Do’ is a song I received about two years ago, when our first mini-album promotions were over. Back then, we lacked the ability to digest it, but now the members’ skills have matured sufficiently.” He continued, “Now that we’re all adults, our interpretation skills have also become much deeper.”
The group also revealed that they altered their vocal style to fit the idea of the title single. Yoo Seungeon shared, “I wanted to express a languid and sexy mood rather than a strong one. I sang as nonchalantly as possible.” And member Park Jihoo tried to change his image, stating, “I always use a high tone, but this time I recorded in a thick, low tone.”

Members and fans alike have high expectations for the upcoming tour. Every member expressed their goals, stating, “We want to create a stage that is both visually and aurally pleasing for the new tour.”
Leader Keita further stated, “Since the last tour took place before the release of our 4th and 5th albums, this tour will feature previously unseen songs. We’ll show you a new side of ourselves, so please look forward to it.”
While chart success is important, the members all agreed that “We want to be remembered as a group with a stage presence that makes people want to keep watching once they’re into them.” Yoo Seungeon grinned and said, “It’s never too late to start liking EVNNE. EVNNE is a team that captivates audiences on stage, drawing them in gradually. This album’s main goal is to “introduce EVNNE’s charm to more people.”
