Can’t take it anymore? BOYNEXTDOOR returns with their new relatable Japanese love song, “Count To Love.”

On August 18, BOYNEXTDOOR presents BOYLIFE, their second Japanese album, which includes the new song “Count To Love” as well as Japanese versions of their singles “I Feel Good,” “Nice Guy,” and “Dangerous.”

BOYNEXTDOOR second Japanese album BOYLIFE 

The album BOYLIFE captures the love, bold charm, and unflinching confidence of youth. This new Japan album follows their debut Japanese release, AND, including the original Japanese title track “GOOD DAY,” as well as Japanese versions of the Korean releases “One and Only,” “Earth, Wind & Fire,” and “But Sometimes.”




Hit after hit, BOYNEXTDOOR is back with a new, refreshing single. With a total of four songs, including the Japanese version of their popular Korean songs “I Feel Good,” “Nice Guy,” “Dangerous,” and the new song, which is represented as the title track, “Count To Love.”

In addition, the music video features Japanese actor Rihito Tagaki, who plays the storyline of the video.

“Count To Love” is a love song that you will surely relate to. The song is about someone throwing cute whining for love and wondering why it happened. Why are we continuously fighting yet holding back? BOYNEXTDOOR’s distinctive passionate lyrics hilariously depict true feelings between lovers. Taesan’s participation in the songwriting filled the song with the band’s own identity.

The intro impacts differently since Jaehyun started it with a lower voice. “Count To Love” has a contagious amount of euphoric energy and cute choreography, making you want to dance joyfully. Giving a vibe of what freedom means. Similar to their hit song “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU.”



BOYNEXTDOOR’s music has a youthful and fresh vitality that brings each release its own distinctive flavor. They continue to do well in their careers, focusing both domestically and internationally. Moreover, the boys are also giving fans hints about their upcoming return; however, there is yet no confirmation or information released.

“Count To Love” achievements

On its first day of release, “BOYLIFE” sold around 300,000 copies, making it the highest-selling first day for an album by a fifth-generation boy group in Japan. It debuted at number one on Japan’s iTunes “Top Albums” (August 18th), while the title song’s music video also topped Japan’s iTunes “Top Videos” (August 19th). They also consistently topped Oricon’s “Daily Single Rankings” for digital music, indicating their enduring popularity.




Meanwhile, on September 12, they will serve as the opening act for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship in the Philippines at the Mall of Asia Arena.
