Kicking off the NCT Wish in Manila fever is a press conference at Gateway’s Quantum Skyview on Friday, April 11. It was attended by lucky fans and the members of the media, wherein Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya graced the Philippines with their wits and charms, answering fun questions. This further contributed to the excitement surrounding their debut Manila concert at the New Frontier Theater on Saturday, April 12.

Say no more to the waiting game, as fans made their way to the venue. NCT Wish finally brings in the energy starter with an opening performance of “Wish” and “Steady.” The crowd was further mesmerized by the boy’s stage presence.
The stage glowed in its own unique arcade concept for the tour. The stage’s theme reflected the highly anticipated fun time the boys had prepared for their fans.
Song after song, the crowd went wild and adding to the hype was a surprise performance of the “Daleng Dale” dance craze by rising P-pop boy group—GAT! The theater was filled with cheers and screams as NCT Wish gave their best hip thrusts. Other cover dances NCT Wish did were “SMOOTHIE” by NCT Dream and “Kissing You” by Girls Generation.
Fan interaction was undeniably loud as the boys did their performance of crowd favorites “Miracle,” “Hands Up,” and “Dunk Shot.”

Wishes do really come true, as the show concludes with heartfelt sentiments from its members to their fans. NCT Wish’s leader, Sion, expressed gratitude on behalf of their group.
“You know, today is our first time performing here in the Philippines and you know, because of this opportunity to be on this Asian tour, it really allows us to visit different countries for the first time so the things we have done really give us nervousness sometimes,” Sion said.
“Here today we have a lot of Manila Czennies and not only that [but] also Czennies from other countries,” he added.
“I really wanna say thank you so much for welcoming us so warmly—really, you guys are the best, mahal ko kayo,” he expressed.
One highlight that made the Philippine concert special was a fan surprise with a dash of the Pinoy way of singing a “Happy Birthday” song to Yushi. Czennies even made an exclusive banner in celebration of his birthday. NCT Wish is in awe experiencing the way concerts are made in Manila.
Just as every Czennie longed for, the boys promised to come back for their upcoming tours—and as expected, the crowd went extra loud to cheer for the next time they visit Manila.
