Thai actresses Namtan Tipnaree and Film Rachanun, stars of the hit GL series Pluto, captivated Filipino fans at their first-ever fanmeeting in Manila.

Namtan Tipnaree (played twins Ob-oom and Ai-oon) and Film Rachanun (played as May) lit up the UP Theater in Quezon City last Friday, July 18, 2025, for their first-ever fan meeting in Manila.

Organized by Wish Us Luck, the event was filled with warmth, chaos, and heartfelt moments that left fans swooning and smiling all night long.

A cosmic welcome from the stars of Pluto

The evening began with a powerful stage as the two performed the original soundtrack from พลูโต (Pluto), the series that brought them together. Their harmonies instantly charged the theater with excitement, setting the tone for a night of joy and connection.

They also delighted fans by trying out local phrases. Film and Namtan greeted the audience with “Mabuhay!”, sweetly said “Mahal kita,” and playfully shouted the crowd-favorite “EYYYY!” with matching hand signs, which sent fans into a frenzy.

Laughter among the moons and stars

The next segment had fans laughing non-stop with a series of charming and chaotic games. First up was the “Bunny Game,” where the two wore bunny hats and had to bop each other’s ears based on trigger words. They couldn’t stop giggling as they tried to time their moves, and the fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable scene.

Things got even more energetic with the dance imitation challenge, dancing to the unmistakable beat of Filipino budots. The crowd went wild as Namtan and Film showed off their moves, with Namtan joking, “Too short!” when the music abruptly ended.

In the hilarious “Catch Me Baby” game, one of them was blindfolded while the other tried to avoid being caught on camera. Neither of them managed to take a successful photo, leading to a playful punishment: they had to show off their น่ารัก: naa rak (Thai for “cute”) poses on the big screen. The duo posed sweetly as the crowd judged their cuteness with deafening screams.

Heartbeats and constellations of emotion

Midway through the show, the sky softened as both actresses delivered solo performances. Film sang the “Linger” soundtrack from Pluto, which she said she dedicated to Namtan. Then came Namtan’s high-energy, rock-inspired set of “Somewhere Only We Know” that felt like a full concert, earning another wave of cheers.

After her performance, Namtan said, “Filipinos have the best energy; if I ever hold a concert, I want to do it here.”

Later, the theater dimmed for a surprise fan-made VCR. Dressed in elegant blue and yellow Filipinianas, the two grew emotional as the tribute video played. It ended with the message: “You are the guiding light of Lunars.”

With tears in her eyes, Namtan shared, “The video I just watched is the best VCR I’ve ever seen. I really wanted to see all of you. I knew you loved us, but I didn’t expect you’d love us this much. I’ve always known that my job is to act, but I never expected that what I do could inspire so many people.”

She added, “Every day when I open my eyes, I want to do something meaningful, and that includes seeing all of you. Thank you for being part of our story. Thank you for giving meaning to our lives.”

Film followed with a soft but heartfelt: “Thank you for letting us be part of your lives.”

For the final performance, the duo returned to the stage one last time. Namtan asked fans to turn on their phone flashlights, and in an instant, the UP Theater transformed into a sea of twinkling stars. It was a perfect send-off. Two stars on stage, orbiting each other, surrounded by the galaxy of fans that brought them to Manila.
