A decade in, Kim Sejeong returned to Manila and proved she’s not just an idol, but a generation-defining force of heart and talent.
Kim Sejeong isn’t just a star; she’s a force of nature. From the moment she captured our hearts on Produce 101 to her legendary runs in I.O.I and Gugudan, Sejeong has redefined what it means to be an all-rounder. Whether she’s dominating variety shows with her athletic mastery or breaking viewership records in K-Dramas like The Uncanny Counter and the viral sensation Business Proposal, she does it all with a signature smile that lights up the room.

In her tenth year in the industry, Sejeong brought her Tenth Letter fan concert to Manila, proving once again why she is the ultimate “God Sejeong.”
The Grand Return to Her “Filo Sesangs”
It’s been a long time coming!
After first visiting in 2016 and returning for The Door tour in 2023, Sejeong finally reunited with her Manila family on February 21, 2026. The atmosphere at the New Frontier Theater was electric. Opening with “Something New” and Wonder Girls’ “Irony,” Sejeong took us straight back to her roots.
When she shouted a cheerful “Kumusta kayo?” the crowd’s roar was deafening. She couldn’t hide her glow, gushing about how much she missed the Philippine crowd.
Cosplay, Cravings, and Chaos!
One of the night’s highlights was the “dress code” challenge. Sejeong asked fans to dress as their favorite version of her from the last decade, and PH Sesangs did not miss!
The stage was soon flooded with iconic “Sejeongs”: Ra Eunho from School 2017, Do Hana and other personas from Uncanny Counter, Something New stage, Semina, Park Dal from Moon River, On Maeum from Today’s Webtoon, Shin Hari from Business Proposal, and even the purple box in Busted! and the “Yanghwa BRDG” stage outfit in Produce 101. These lucky fans got to interact with Sejeong and posed several pictures with her.
Between the laughs, Sejeong shared some TMI. She had a pre-concert Thai food feast, but the fans were quick to scream “Adobo!” and “Jollibee!” for her next meal. (We hope she got her Chickenjoy soon!)
The “Five Hearts” Mission: Vocals for Days
We all know Sejeong’s vocals are top-tier. But seeing her nail the snippets of IU’s “My Sea,” Lee Hi’s “Breathe,” and Taeyeon’s “U R” live? What about the short callback to her solo songs: “Warning” and “Baby I Love U”? Not to forget singing her OSTS such as Crash Landing On You’s “All Of My Days” and Business Proposal’s “Love Maybe”? Absolute chills!
She even gave fans a “boss move” update during a quiz segment, jokingly bragging “I am an adult now!” as she talked about closing old bank accounts to focus on her investment portfolio. Financial queen behavior!
Gugudan Nostalgia & A Spontaneous Medley
The theater practically shook when the intro to “A Girl Like Me” and “The Boots” started. It was a high-octane tribute to her Gugudan days that had every Sesang on their feet.
Subsequently, she crooned the theater with blissful tracks, namely “Flower Way” and “In The Rain.”
For the encore stage, she gave a back-to-back cheerful performance of “Skyline” and “Whale.” Afterward, she also asked fans about song requests to which she sang fragments of the songs: “Hope for Tomorrow,” “Between Summer and Winter,” “Top or Cliff,” “Warning,” “Destiny,” and “Maybe I Am.”
Happy Tears & Pure Magic
The real tear-jerker came later after a stunning encore of selected songs. Filipino fans surprised Sejeong with a heartfelt tribute video. Seeing her 10-year journey flash before her eyes brought Sejeong to tears, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. As the night drew to a close, the crowd chanted “Walang uuwi!” (No one goes home!), which Sejeong adorably mimicked, not wanting the magic to end.

She then wrapped up with her exhilarating and bittersweet stage of “Let’s Go Home!.| Until the end, Sejeong kept on thanking her fans as she exited.
After the farewell, several fans got to participate in the hi-bye and group photo session with her. Thirty lucky fans even go to have a 1:1 photo session with Sejeong. How amazing is that?
The Post Script
Kim Sejeong’s Tenth Letter wasn’t just a concert. It was a love letter.
Her passion, her humor, and her raw talent reminded us why we’ve stayed by her side for ten years. In a world of uncertainties, one thing is for sure: Sesangs will always be walking the flower way right beside her.
This event was brought to fans by Wilbros Live. Pop Journal would like to extend our gratitude for the media invitations to cover the Kim Sejeong Tenth Letter Fan Concert in Manila.
