Katherhyn Mangao, an independent Filipino artist recognized by her stage name Kath Erin, is a 21-year-old talent currently in her third year of college pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Studies.
Notably, Kath has released songs such as “Kape,” “Clueless,” and “Orbit.” Beyond her musical endeavors, she finds joy in crafting poems and short stories, as well as showcasing her talent through recording cover songs.

When asked what inspires her to be a singer, the songstress responded, “My family and relatives were the ones who first believed in me. Their support and love for me have opened my eyes to see myself in the world of singers. But to be honest, I don’t want to be the best or the most popular singer. I just want the world to hear my songs.”

“Actually, there are a lot, and it depends on the music we are going to collaborate. If it’s acoustic pop, I want to collab with Ms. Moira Dela Torre. If it’s R&B, I want to collaborate with Ms. Denise Julia. I wish to collab with Juan Karlos if it’s rock. And if I am given the opportunity to do a PPOP song, of course, I want to do it with SB19. These artists are the people I look up to in the world of music. They have also influenced and inspired me to try writing songs in different genres. And it will be a dream come true if these collabs happen in the future.”
Furthermore, Kath has participated in the Asia Pop Christmas Special singing competition. This marked her debut in the realm of contests. Despite it being her first time competing, she won second place in the event. Adding to her recent accomplishments, she has recently posted her rendition of “KANAKO” by Felip on YouTube.
