Fans exceed ForceBook’s expectations for their first-ever Fan Meeting in Manila!
Filipino TOMAFOX showed their genuine love for ForceBook during their 1st Fan Meeting in Manila. Organized by Wish Us Luck, the memorable event was held on October 1, 2023, at SM North Edsa, Skydome.
During the press conference, POP Journal was lucky enough to ask the duo one question. ForceBook answered “Communication is the key” when asked how they managed to sustain the strong bond between them during their years of friendship. According to Book, if you are mad or encountering a problem, you should talk about it so that you can understand each other better.
In addition, ForceBook learned new Tagalog words such as “Salamat po”, “Kumusta”, and “Mahal namin kayo” which means We love you all.
ForceBook Special Moments with Filipino Tomafox in Manila Fan Meet
The fans start to cheer as soon as the lights go dim and the countdown begins. ForceBook appeared in black suit, starting the night with A Boss and a Babe OST “My Luck“. Greeting their fans “Kumusta kayo” and “Magandang hapon po”.
The host asked, what is their impression of Filipino fans, to which Force answered, “You’re so hype” and “We just stand here, and you guys are already so happy”. Filipino fans have once again shown that they are one of the loudest crowds ever.
ForceBook’s first game is Fox or Tomato as per instructions they need to choose which one of the choices they prefer.
Here are a few of the questions they answered through the game corner:
- Unlimited Coffee or Unlimited Snacks, Force chose coffee and Book chose Snacks.
- Work in a group or work individually, ForceBook both chose to work in a group.
- Fast forward or Pause time, they both chose Pause time and Book said like “right now”
- Give hugs or Receive hugs, Force chose receive hugs and Book chose Give hugs (after the question Force received a hug from Book)
The second game is Figure me out, wherein they need to guess what the item is only by letting their cheeks to touch it.
Force won this game, which means Book had to copy the 4 emojis that flashed on the screen as punishment.
And for the 3rd and last game, Guess that Role, where they will act a scene from one of their series and the other will have to guess it.
In between games, ForceBook went onstage to perform their solo acts. Force sang 2gether the series OST “คู่กัน/Koo Gun” and Book sang Still 2gether OST “Still Together“.
Also, Force explained the meaning of their fandom name TOMAFOX, combining the terms “Toma” and “Fox” since Book loves tomato, but before it’s mochi and Force is always Fox.
ForceBook in Manila
Nearing the end of the fan meeting. a surprise fan made VCR was played on the screen participated by fans across the globe. Each of them gave ForceBook a message. Fans also gifted them with a bouquet, cloth banner with Filipino fans’ message, and cakes.
They expressed gratitude to their Filipino fans for the warm welcome. ForceBook said Filipino fans’ energy exceeded their expectations and they proved how much they love and support them and hoping that they can come back again.
ForceBook chanted “Philippine fans! Philippine fans” appreciating Filipino fans after their last performance My School President OST “Hook“.
The fan meet wraps up with the hi-touch and photo opportunity with ForceBook wearing the Philippines’ traditional clothing, Barong Tagalog.
