Three years in the industry, the members of Alamat have continued to mesmerize audiences with their electrifying performances, undeniable stage presence, irresistible tunes, and down-to-earth personalities.
Alamat is definitely reaching new heights with the celebration of its third debut anniversary through back-to-back shows for its beloved Magiliw.
Taneo, Mo, Tomas, R-Ji, Alas, and Jao decided to do something special: a fan celebration extravagance at the Viva Cafe. Initially scheduled for 9PM shows on March 15 and March 16, an added 5PM slot for both days was released due to strong demand.
Getting captivated by Alamat for the nth time
The Pop Journal Team was able to attend the 5PM slot on the second day, March 16, and it was beyond expectations.
Outside the venue, fans were interacting with each other; some saw their mutuals for the first time, while a few started to exchange SNS handles. A merch booth was situated right by the entrance, and despite it being a Friday, the seats at the Viva Cafe quickly got filled with excited fans.
Members of the fandom began distributing glowsticks, informing the newcomers of their fan project for the boys. Then, as soon as the lights went dim, the host went on to ignite anticipation, calling in the protagonists of the evening.
Bedazzling, in every sense of the word. The multilingual and multiethnic Ppop sensation took over the stage, starting the show with an acoustic version of “kbye.” R-Ji led with his applaudable guitar skills, while the members effortlessly grooved to the song with their fans. Alamat then continued giving off the chill vibes with “Sa Panaginip Na Lang” and “ABKD.”
