Yoon San-ha as Park Yoon Jae
Yoon San-ha takes on the role of Park Yoon Jae, the charming, sweet boyfriend of Kim Ji Eun, who stays by her side even when she turns into a man.
Before stepping into Yoon Jae’s shoes, San-ha was already adored as ASTRO’s maknae, since the group’s 2016 debut, Spring Up. With soothing vocals and sharp dance skills, he later formed the sub-unit MOONBIN&SANHA, debuting in September 2020 with the mini album In & Out. In 2024, he became a soloist with DUSK and recently released his second mini album, CHAMELEON.
Beyond music, San-ha has been carving out his space in acting, proving his versatility through a growing list of roles. He played Tae Oh in Love Formula 11M (2019) and Kim Yu in the movie Joseon Chefs (2023) and took on younger brother roles that left lasting impressions—Hyeon Jae in Romance in the House (2024) and Lee Su Ho in Crazy Love (2022).
Arin as Kim Ji Eun
Arin takes on the role of Kim Ji Eun, the girlfriend of Yoon Jae, whose world is thrown into chaos when she suddenly transforms into a man overnight.
Outside of the drama, Arin shines as the youngest member of the girl group OH MY GIRL. Since their debut in 2015 with the mini album OH MY GIRL and lead track “CUPID,” she has captured fans’ hearts with her sweet visuals and charming personality. In 2018, she joined the sub-unit OH MY GIRL BANHANA, releasing an album Banana Allergy Monkey.
As her career evolved, Arin steadily expanded beyond idol activities, proving her versatility on screen. She gained recognition for her role as Jin Cho Yeon, the lively youngest daughter of Jinyowon, in Alchemy of Souls (2022–2023). Most recently, she took on a mystery-driven role in the webtoon-based drama S-Line (2025), portraying Hyun Heup, the only person naturally born with the ability to see “S Lines.”

Yoo Jung Hoo as Kim Ji Hoon (Ji Eun’s man identity)
In My Girlfriend is the Man!, Yoo Jung Hoo takes on the role of Kim Ji Hoon—the male identity of Kim Ji Eun after her shocking overnight transformation. With his tall stature, sharp features, and natural screen presence, Yoo Jung Hoo shines in the role, with the drama amplifying his strengths even further.
He has steadily built his career with roles across both dramas and web series. He played Park Do Yoon in New Love Playlist (2022), Kwak Hyun Woo in Bad Girlfriend (2022), Dan Deun Myeong in Durian’s Affair (2023), and Park Jun in Who Is She (2024). His breakout moment came with Bitch X Rich (2023), where he stole the spotlight as Lee So Mang.
Chuu as Kang Min Joo
Chuu takes on the role of Kang Min Joo, who openly pursues her feelings for Park Yoon Jae, positioning herself as a rival to Kim Ji Eun/Kim Ji Hoon.
She is known for her bright energy and versatility, first gaining attention with her solo “Heart Attack” as a member of LOONA and its sub-unit yyxy. Officially debuting with LOONA in 2018, she later parted ways with the group in 2022 and re-debuted as a soloist under ATRP with her mini album HOWL (2023). Since then, she has been actively releasing music, most recently with the EP Only Cry in the Rain.
Beyond music, Chuu has proven her versatility as an actress and entertainer. She appeared as Han Eun Sol in Dating Class (2019) and has been a regular presence in Korean variety shows, including Mr. Trot 2 (2022-2023), King of Mask Singer (2020) as Spring Girl, Law of the Jungle: Spring Special in Jeju (2021), Running Girls (2020), and many more. Fans especially know her for her own YouTube channel Chuu Can Do It.

Park Joo Won as Choi Yu Ri
Park Joo Won plays Choi Yu Ri, Kim Ji Eun’s best friend who continues to stand by her even after transforming into a man. Though she briefly develops feelings for him, her heart later shifts toward Lee Min Hyuk. In the drama, Yu Ri is also revealed to be a famous web novel writer under the pen name Crystal Shoes.
Park Joo Won debuted in 2021 with Inspector Koo and has since built her name through notable roles, including young Cha Jung Sook in Doctor Cha (2023), An Na Hee in Night Has Come (2023), and Lee Jung Hwa in Gangnam B-Side (2024).
Hur Hyun Jun as Lee Min Hyuk
Hur Hyun Jun takes on the role of Lee Min Hyuk, Yoon Jae’s friend and co-worker. Initially drawn to Kim Ji Hoon, he gradually grows closer to the other cast—especially Choi Yu Ri.
He is formerly known as Hwall and first rose to fame as a member of THE BOYZ, debuting in 2017 with their first mini album, The First. As Hwall, he showcased his powerful stage presence as the group’s lead dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist.
However, in 2019, he departed THE BOYZ due to a leg injury but quickly forged his own path as a solo artist. He debuted with “Baragi” in August 2020 and went on to release the singles “VO!D” and “Let Me Down” through 2022.
Continuing to expand his artistry, Hur Hyun Jun made his acting debut in the BL series Color Rush (2020–2022), playing the character who always wears a black face mask. He later appeared in Walk to Kwangya 2023 as Yoon Bin.
Choi Yoon Ra as Kim Ji Hye
Choi Yoon Ra takes on the role of Kim Ji Hye, Kim Ji Eun’s sister, who has cherished a first love for Hong Young Seok since their high school days.
Formerly known as Ji Yoon Ha, she made her acting debut in 2014 and has since appeared in various films and dramas, including The Secret Life of My Secretary (2019) as Boo Se Young, No, Thank You (2020, 2022) as Moo Mi Young, and The Love in Your Eyes (2022) as Kim Hae Mi.

Kim Jong Hoon as Hong Young Seok
Kim Jong Hoon plays Hong Young Seok, a man who has spent his life trying to pass the civil service exam and becomes the love interest of both Kim Ji Hye and Ham Jeong Ja.
He has appeared in several dramas, including I Picked Up a Star on the Road (2018) as Nak Goo, Mirror of the Witch (2016) as Bat Shwe, Police University (2021) as student president Han Min Guk, Love Scene Number (2021) as Yoo Da Ham, and From Now On, Showtime! (2022) as Seo Hui Su, and more.
Jun Soo Jin as Ham Jeong Ja
Jun Soo Jin plays Ham Jeong Ja, a wealthy café owner who is also the boss of Park Yoon Jae and Lee Min Hyuk. She develops feelings for Young Seok after meeting him on blind dates.
Jun Soo Jin made her acting debut in 2012 and has since built an active career in both film and television. She earned her first leading role as So Young in Godsend (2014) and has appeared in numerous dramas, including School 2013 (2012-2013) as Gye Na Ri, The Heirs (2013) as Kang Ye Seol, Emergency Couple (2014) as Oh Jin Ae, and Descendants of the Sun (2016), among others.
