BURNOUT SYNDROMES rocked their first Live in Manila, bringing Japanese rock, beloved anime anthems, and electrifying energy to Filipino fans.

Japanese rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES finally brought their music to Manila on September 5, 2026. The band took the stage at The Crossroads Center in Quezon City for their first-ever live performance in the Philippines.

More than a long-awaited debut, the concert gave Filipino fans a chance to experience the energy of Japanese rock while singing along to their beloved anime anthems.

To kick off the night, Philippine-based Japanese duo fuyu took the stage and warmed up the crowd for BURNOUT SYNDROMES. The duo features Fumiya, the well-loved Japanese former housemate from Pinoy Big Brother, and Yukan, a composer who works alongside him. Together, they aim to build a musical bridge between Japan and the Philippines.

The duo performed their original songs, including “Iikot Ang Mundo,” “Sabay,” and “Somewhere Again.” They also performed “Dream Together,” a song dedicated to the children of Tondo, Manila. In addition, fuyu gave fans a preview of their upcoming single, which is set to arrive soon.

Throughout their set, the duo expressed their appreciation for Filipino fans for their warm support and welcome. They also shared their hope to return that kindness through their music.

Known for their dynamic sound, soaring melodies, and electrifying live performances, BURNOUT SYNDROMES finally brought their signature Japanese rock sound to Filipino fans. The band immediately got the crowd moving with “BLIZZARD,” “花一匁,” and “BABEL.” They kept the energy high with “エレベーターガール” and “ハイスコアガール,” encouraging fans to jump, sing along, and enjoy every moment.

As the night continued, BURNOUT SYNDROMES also highlighted the anime anthems that helped make them a standout name among J-rock and anime music fans worldwide. They performed tracks from their special cover album ハイキュー!!×BOS-主題歌たちの宴-, which features their renditions of iconic Haikyu!! opening and ending themes.

The crowd eagerly sang along to fan favorites like “ヒカリアレ,” “イマジネーション,” “PHOENIX,” and “LEO.” Then, BURNOUT SYNDROMES kept the momentum going with signature hits “FLY HIGH!!,” “ORIGAMI,” and “Good Morning World.” With every track, fans jumped, sang, and rocked along with the band.

Ultimately, BURNOUT SYNDROMES turned their long-awaited Manila debut into a celebration shared with their Filipino fans. Through powerful riffs, beloved anime anthems, and nonstop energy, the band created a memorable night where Japanese rock met the passion of the Filipino crowd.
