ALL(H)OURS is known for always releasing music with diverse styles and sounds. VCF is no exception. As Youmin shared, the group constantly challenges themselves—making new music, diving into different genres, and exploring various styles. He explained:

We took that challenge into this album as well. For example, “READY 2 RUMBLE” contains more of ALL(H)OURS’ identity with a strong synth sound, and “DO IT” is based on New Jack Swing, which came after considering genres we haven’t tried before. In addition, “GOOD JOB” and “La Vida Loca” are also under genres we haven’t done previously.

Kunho explained that their main inspiration when creating music, including the tracks in VCF, is themselves. Each member has a distinct character that contributes to the group’s uniqueness. He also shared that part of the songwriting process for this album actually took place on an airplane—an unusual environment that gave them fresh inspiration and focus.

When asked whether they write songs based solely on their personal feelings or also consider fans’ perspectives, Xayden and Kunho gave different answers. Xayden said that he focuses more on his personal emotions, while Kunho shared that he prioritizes the fans’ feelings.

The members also revealed their personal picks from VCF. Kunho and Masami recommended “READY 2 RUMBLE,” while Youmin and Minje chose “DO IT.” Hyunbin’s favorite is “La Vida Loca,” Xayden picked “GOOD JOB,” and ON:N selected the title track “VCF.” The group also agreed that among all the songs, “La Vida Loca” and “READY 2 RUMBLE” best define ALL(H)OURS’ identity.
