After four years out of the limelight, DEAN is finally back for a new chapter in his music career!

The wait has finally ended as Kwon Hyuk, more known by his screen name DEAN, announced his comeback after a hiatus of four years. This comes with the release of his newest single, DIE 4 U, last November 18.

Fans were quick to get hyped up about the news that DEAN announced over a series of teasers he posted on his Instagram after it was reactivated in 2019. The Alternative R&B singer’s new tunes received a massive amount of listening, and it showed how eager fans were to hear from him again that the song instantly became a hit with over 1.1 million views on YouTube in the last five days since its release.

The 31-year-old singer has yet to release a full discography for his recent comeback, but he continues to slowly get on track as he posts snippets of his work.

DIE 4 U focuses on the mellow melodic scene depicted by DEAN’s music. He will continue to work on his solo music in the upcoming days, as shared by his music agency, Universal Music, with Korean news outlet TV Daily: “Dean announced his return after 4 years and 6 months. “He will begin counting down his activities upon releasing his new single on the 18th,” they announced.

DEAN had created a name in the K-R&B scene through his 2016 debut with his album 130 Mood: TRBL. He has collaborated with big K-idols and international artists such as Eric Bellinger with “I’m Not Sorry,” Zico with “풀어 (Pour Up),” Anderson Paak with “Put My Hands On You,” Dok2 with” I Love It,” and IU with “Troll.”
