Caroline Romano releases her new six-track EP It Took Me Falling, a vulnerable alt-pop project reflecting personal growth and resilience, as she celebrates the release with a live show at The End.
Rising alt-pop artist Caroline Romano unveils her latest EP, It Took Me Falling, a six-track collection that highlights her evolving artistry and emotional honesty. Moreover, the project includes previously released singles “Cruel and Unusual Punishment,” “Up the Stairs,” and “Unsteady.” While also introducing three brand-new songs that expand the EP’s narrative.

It takes falling to land where you’re supposed to, and this EP was my process of coming to that realization myself. I think it’s a universal experience to question why we go through certain trials and heartbreaks in life. I’ve spent much of my youth writing about those moments in my music. This EP feels like the other side of that question. It’s my answer to why it’s worth living with your arms outstretched toward something you haven’t found yet.
Through the project, Romano reflects on personal growth, resilience, and the unpredictable journey of self-discovery. In addition, each track explores the pursuit of love, purpose, or identity, while acknowledging the struggles that often accompany those searches. As the EP unfolds, she embraces vulnerability and shows how moments of uncertainty can ultimately lead to clarity and transformation.
