All-rounder star idol Yook Sungjae joins forces with Yoo Jaesuk for a new variety show, Synchro You.
Multi-talented idol Yook Sungjae from boy group BTOB is teaming up with South Korea’s National MC, Yoo Jaesuk, in a new variety show titled Synchro You. The show marks the two entertainers’ first project together as main hosts.

Yoo Jaesuk is a South Korean host who has garnered the title “Nation’s MC” for his genius hosting. He is known for several variety shows, such as Infinite Challenge, Running Man, Happy Together, Busted!, and Hangout with Yoo.
On the other hand, Yook Sungjae is a K-Pop singer, actor, and entertainer. He made his debut in 2012 as a vocalist for the boy group BTOB. His roles in K-dramas such as Who Are You: School 2015 and Goblin launched him to fame as an actor.
Synchro You will be Yoo Jaesuk’s first collaboration with KBS in three years. Moreover, this will also be Yook Sungjae’s comeback to the variety scene since leaving Master in the House in 2020.
Produced by KBS2, Synchro Yoo is a music variety show that will showcase cover stages by top artists and AI vocals. With the AI vocals boasting a 99-percent synchronization rate to that of the real artist, cast members are tasked with identifying 1 percent of the real artist’s vocals.
Aside from Yook Sungjae and Yoo Jaesuk, Synchro Yoo‘s star-studded lineup also includes aespa’s Karina and Seventeen’s Hoshi. Singers Lee Juck and Lee Yongjin, who have previously shown their chemistry with Yoo, are also part of the lineup.

The pilot episode for Synchro Yoo is airing on May 10 at 10 p.m. KST. Subsequently, the second episode is slated for release on May 18 in the same time slot. Check out the teaser below!
