BLINKs rejoice as LISA is making her debut as an actress as part of the new cast to join the 3rd season of The White Lotus!
BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is debuting as an actress as she joins the cast of The White Lotus season 3.
Lalisa Manobal, commonly known as LISA, is a Thai rapper, dancer, singer, and actress. She is most famous for being a member of the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK. The group is under the management of YG Entertainment.
On February 12, it was announced that Blackpink Lisa was joining the cast of HBO’s The White Lotus season 3. This is her acting debut, as she is following in the footsteps of fellow Blackpink member Jennie, who starred in The Idol.
She will be using her given name, Lalisa Manobal. Her specific role is not yet announced, as this also applies to the show’s plot for the third season. What is confirmed so far is that it follows a new group of people at a White Lotus property. Production is scheduled to begin this February around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand.

The White Lotus details
The show was created by Mike White, who is also the director and executive producer, along with David Bernad and Mark Kamine. HBO is partnering with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third installment, as this is the primary shooting location of the third season.
Moreover, the show is an immediate hit for HBO. The first season, set in Hawaii, has 20 Emmy nominations and 10 wins, including the best limited or anthology series. The second season has 23 Emmy nominations, including Best Drama Series, winning five awards.
