Belle and Chain launch their North American spring tour supporting Barns Courtney and drop debut single “Don’t You Worry Babe” on April 9.

Los Angeles-based rock act Belle and Chain will join British singer-songwriter Barns Courtney for a North American spring tour, bringing their cinematic sound to audiences across the U.S. and Canada. The tour begins April 1 in Dallas and continues through 24 dates before concluding on May 3 in Los Angeles. As anticipation builds, the band also prepares to introduce new music to listeners discovering their evolving style.

On April 9, Belle and Chain will release their debut single, “Don’t You Worry Babe,” through Notes From The Underground and Not Dead Yet Media, marking the next step in the band’s artistic journey.

Belle and Chain blend Western-inspired rock with elements of folk and Americana, creating songs shaped by atmospheric textures, airy vocals, and reflective lyricism. The project first emerged as the creative alias of actor, filmmaker, and musician Spencer Grammer. However, it has since developed into a full band through her collaboration with multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Davis IL. Together, they craft a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.

Growing up between New York City and Los Angeles, Grammer experienced the arts early through her family’s creative background. Her father built a career in television, while her mother performed as a Broadway dancer. As a result, Grammer pursued her own path as an actress, director, and voice artist. She later gained wide recognition as the voice of Summer Smith on the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty.

Following a violent attack in 2020 that left lasting damage to her right forearm, Grammer turned to songwriting during her recovery. By 2024, she began writing original material, using music as a way to process trauma while rebuilding strength and confidence. Through this experience, Belle and Chain grew into a collaborative partnership shaped by the shared vision of Grammer and Davis IL.
