Swiftly wipe your tears away as Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ is coming to the Philippine cinemas this October!
Following the heartbreaking announcement that Taylor Swift‘s highly anticipated The Eras Tour would not be coming to Manila anytime soon, Filipino Swifties are in it for the wonderful news that its film version will be available on October 13.
The film is directed by Grammy Award nominee and Emmy Award director Sam Wrench, also popularly known for producing “BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage” and “Billie Eilish Live at the O2.” The two-hour and 45-minute show will take viewers on the tour behind the scenes, from preparations to the performances.
The 33-year-old American singer-songwriter shared her sentiments on X last August 31. She hinted at a possible film presentation of her world tour. At that time, North American theaters were confirmed to air the movie.
“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far, and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon,” she says.
“The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide. Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on October 13! Meanwhile, the SM Cinemas will have the film showing from October 13, 15, 19, 22, 26, and 29, plus bonus dates for the following month of November 2 to 5 for regular cinemas and IMAX.

- IMAX – Php 1,000

Taylor has recently taken home nine awards at the 2023 VMAs including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for “Midnights”.
