Justin Timberlake announced his new single “Selfish” at the Orpheum in Memphis during his exclusive one-night concert. This marked a significant step in his mysterious social media campaign for the highly anticipated upcoming project.
Timberlake hinted at the imminent release of the song by sharing a 30-second teaser on TikTok and Instagram. This occurred merely one hour before his Orpheum performance.
The Orpheum audience experienced a Timberlake performance reminiscent of his Vegas show. The set featured classics like “SexyBack,” “My Love,” and the transition into “Holy Grail.”
During the show, he acknowledged his NSYNC origins by giving a shout-out to fellow member Chris Kirkpatrick, who was present at the event with his wife.
The Memphis-born singer’s upcoming album signifies his sixth solo LP and marks his first in six years. He commenced his solo journey with “Justified” in 2002, and his latest release, “Man of the Woods,” debuted in 2018.

After Timberlake cleared his Instagram, this move is was seen as a signal that the pop star is preparing for a fresh musical phase.
By erasing all previous images and substituting them with new visuals, this signifies for Timberlake as an effective method to indicate a new chapter and discard old marketing ideas.
