Hayley Williams drops 17 new songs out of nowhere!
Hayley Williams releases a surprise drop of 17 singles, all produced by Daniel James. She has heavy involvement across each of the 17 songs, with collaborations from Brian Robert Jones and Joey Howard, and Jim-E Stack on “True Believer.”
After more than two decades under contract with Atlantic Records, her band, Paramore, is finally an independent band. This collection is self-released through her new venture, Post Atlantic, and distributed via Secretly Distribution.
These 17 songs put Hayley’s full range on display. “Mirtazapine” is a 90s alt-rock love letter to antidepressants, while on “Glum,” she subverts her own voice, her vocal talent, to deliver the message of the song, which leans on loneliness. Other songs include “Whim,” a catchy tune that honors her Nashville roots. Another, “Ice in My OJ,” is a modern track that has sharp creation and some of their most biting and humorous lyrics to date.

Loyal Paramore fans may be familiar with the “Ice In My OJ” chorus. Additionally, this was sung by Hayley back in 2004 on “Jumping Inside” by the Mammoth City Messengers. This collection captures all the dynamism she gains in her career and collaborations. At their core, these songs are the work of a high-talent artist with an appetite for music and creative exploration.
These songs represent Williams’ third project as a solo artist. Her previous two works were released during the COVID era: Petals For Armor and Flowers for Vases.
