DWARVES announce new album JENKEM, arriving June 5, marking a return to their fast, aggressive sound and extensive international touring plans.

Veteran punk band DWARVES has announced the release of their upcoming full-length album, JENKEM, arriving June 5 via Greedy Records. The project marks a return to the band’s fastest and most aggressive sound. This continues a decades-long presence in underground punk and hardcore scenes.

Described as a high-velocity release rooted in hardcore and thrash influences, JENKEM revisits the band’s earlier, more confrontational style. The album draws from the same raw intensity that defined their 1990 record Blood, Guts & Pussy, while maintaining the band’s signature approach to stripped-down and abrasive production.

The record features 14 tracks, including 13 short-form songs and one mid-tempo composition. Across its runtime, JENKEM emphasizes speed and directness, with a sound that blends elements of hardcore punk and early thrash. Tracks such as “Confused,” “We Are the Scene,” and “Drug Lust” highlight the album’s fast-paced structure. While songs like “Psychosis Tripping” and “Be Ruthless Destroy” continue its aggressive tone.

Produced by frontman Blag Dahlia and recorded and mixed by Andy Carpenter, the album maintains a raw sonic profile. Its rollout includes a series of live and animated videos, as well as collectible 7-inch releases and exclusive merchandise available through the band’s official channels.

To support the release, DWARVES will embark on an extensive tour across North America and Europe. The run begins in May with select U.S. shows alongside Screeching Weasel. This is followed by additional performances in cities such as Austin and San Francisco. Later dates include collaborations with The Exploited and Total Chaos, before the band heads to Europe for a series of festival appearances and headline shows.

Formed in the 1980s, DWARVES has built a reputation for their fast-paced sound and unpredictable live performances. Their work has spanned multiple eras of punk and heavy music, influencing a wide range of artists while maintaining a distinct presence within underground culture.

JENKEM will be available on all major formats starting June 5.
