Conan said in the statement: “I wrote this song at 2am. Everything by the piano just spilled out all at once. It was a moment where I finally felt like, ‘fine, great job, you did it. You hurt me more than anybody ever could hurt me.’ And it oddly felt nice. I see now that there is a certain freedom that comes from recognizing that you’ve been hurt. I’m no longer running, and just facing the fact that ‘you win. you hurt me. ‘ I hope this song helps people find a little piece of that freedom.”
“Winner” is a heart-wrenching ballad that makes you burst with emotion. The song has already struck a chord with many, touching their soul with its painful melody and lyrics. Also, fans believe that this song is a version 2.0 to his song “Family Line”, which is about his relationship with his parents.
The new single follows “Never Ending Song” which he released last May. Both “Winner” and “Never Ending Songs” are new songs from Conan since he dropped his Sophomore Album “Superache” last year, including “Astronomy”, “Family Line”, “Movies”, and “Memories”.
CONEHEADS have been anticipating this new heart-breaking from Conan, who has been teasing the fans by uploading snippets in Tiktok in the few weeks.
