Coldplay reveals their latest studio album MOON MUSiC, first single to release this Friday.
British rock band Coldplay announces the release of their highly-anticipated tenth studio album titled MOON MUSiC. The album will be available on October 4, 2024.
The album will have its first single with the title “feelslikeimfallinginlove” available on Friday, June 21, 2024. The single is available to pre-save. The band performed the song for the first-time during a concert at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna.
Max Martin is the producer for this latest album. It is available to pre-order, with hand-signed editions available in limited quantity available in the band’s official store website.

Formats and Stability standards
In line with Coldplay’s noticeable sustainability measures on their current tour, which produced 59% less CO2e emissions than their previous stadium tour so far. The band takes great actions and lengths to make this album as sustainable as it can.
Moon Music will be the first ever album to be released as a 140g EcoRecord LP, each copy is made from 9 recycled PET-plastic bottles recovered from post-consumer waste. This method will avoid the creation of more than 25 metric tons of virgin plastic and will make way for an 85% reduction in creating CO2 emissions/kg compared to traditional 140g vinyl.
Moreover, the band will collaborate with The Ocean Cleanup to create another format, Notebook Edition EcoRecord LP. The rPET for this edition consists of 70% river plastic, obtained from the Rio Las Vacas, Guatemala which prevents it from reaching the Gulf of Honduras and the Atlantic Ocean.
The CD editions of the album will be released on EcoCD which is made from 90% recycled polycarbonate, a first in this matter.

MOON MUSiC First edition
The first edition will be strictly limited and produced at a higher specification compared to future editions. This applies to both EcoRecord LP and EcoCD, the products will be individually marked.

The Notebook Edition is a casebound hardback book. This is a replica of vocalist Chris Martin’s original studio notebook that contains different things from the album’s creation process. It will also include voice notes and demos.
