From Above returns with renewed intensity as BED unveil remastered single and vinyl reissue, reviving their atmospheric, emotionally charged sound.
“From Above” takes center stage once again as Los Angeles-based band BED revisit their origins with a remastered single and vinyl reissue of their debut album. Released March 20 via Quiet Panic, the refreshed track and limited pressing offer both longtime listeners and new audiences a deeper look into the band’s layered, genre-blurring sound.

Originally released in 2022, Bed’s Self Titled marked a defining moment for the group—a 12-track collection that fused alternative rock melodies with shoegaze haze and post-hardcore urgency. Now, for the first time, the album arrives on vinyl in a limited opaque white pressing with pink splatter, giving its textured sound a physical form that mirrors its emotional weight.
At the heart of the reissue is “From Above,” a track that captures BED’s ability to balance atmosphere and impact. Recorded with producer Alex Estrada and mixed by Jack Shirley, the song moves between shimmering guitar layers and driving rhythms, creating a sound that feels both expansive and immediate. It’s a sonic push and pull—quiet introspection colliding with bursts of urgency.

Emerging from the outskirts of Los Angeles, BED began as a solo project before evolving into a full band shaped by DIY shows and relentless touring. That evolution is embedded in their music. There’s a sense of movement in every track—restless, searching, and deeply personal. Influences from ’80s and ’90s alternative and post-punk linger in the background, but BED’s identity remains distinctly their own.
The reissue arrives at a moment of momentum. To celebrate, the band will embark on a spring tour across North America, bringing their immersive live energy to stages from San Francisco to New York and beyond. Each performance promises the same intensity that defines their recordings—raw, melodic, and emotionally charged.
With “From Above” leading the way, BED aren’t simply revisiting the past. They’re reshaping it. The reissue feels less like a return and more like a continuation. It becomes a reminder that some sounds don’t fade, they deepen over time.
