Known for his heart-wrenching songs, Alex Warren is back with the second chapter of his first EP. His latest album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, is out now.

Last July 18, hit-making star Alex Warren finally dropped his debut full-length album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid, via Atlantic Records. This much-awaited release is a heartfelt culmination of the singer-songwriter’s life, from losing his dearest loved ones to learning how to heal and find hope again.

Though filled with bittersweet moments, Warren opened up about his journey and feelings through his music. What started as his emotional outlet quickly became a source of comfort for the rest of the world.

The new album comprises 21 tracks, separated into two discs. It includes all of the songs from Warren’s first EP, You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), along with 11 new ones to piece your shattered heart back together. The fresh lineup includes the pre-released tunes “On My Mind (with ROSÉ),” “Bloodline (with Jelly Roll),” and “Ordinary.”

Fueling the excitement, Warren played a major role in the album’s writing process alongside his co-writers Cal Shapiro and Mags Duval and leading producer Adam Yaron. Moving on from the first chapter’s somber and melancholic vibe, this second part delivers a stronger sense of hope and resilience.

Behind the Track: “Eternity”

To be with you in paradise

What I wouldn’t sacrifice

Why’d you have to chase the light

Somewhere I can’t go

As I walk this world alone

“Eternity” is the soul-stirring opening track for Warren’s new album. Following most of his songs’ central themes, this talks about his relationship with grief after the death of his parents. It’s a raw look into how this haunting emotion looks through his eyes, which he shared previously in a post

As part of the launch, a music video for “Eternity” was also released on the same day, offering a cinematic visual to the chillingly captivating melody. It features the singer walking through a dense woodland until he’s greeted by a breathtaking scenic landscape. Much like the track itself, all the shots serve an emotional blow — a perfect accompaniment to the song’s powerful message.
