Thai singer-songwriter Cupnoodle released new single “Piece of Mind” and revealed that she is now working on her upcoming EP, YUM ยำ.
“Piece of Mind” by Cupnoodle is an early 2000s R&B track with a hint of drum and bass influence, and sounds like bedroom pop. Through words and melodies, the song delivers emotional and mental well-being and emphasizes the value of mental serenity over perfection.
The EP, titled YUM ยำ, is named after the food-related artist Cupnoodle. It also reflects the blended pop sounds that fans can anticipate hearing in the EP by representing the Thai word for “mix.” In order to create more excitement for the EP. Also, she intends to release the next single in six weeks, following “Piece of Mind.”

The pre-chorus of “Piece of Mind,” which reflects on previous challenges with societal standards and refers to the experiences as ‘boxes that turn me into its hostage’. Follows Cupnoodle’s first verse, which is about her searching a partner who can provide stability and true support.
As the song moves into its anthem-like chorus, phrases like “I don’t have that kind of money to be wasting time.” And “I don’t want nobody living rent free in my mind” highlight how important mental serenity is. This shows a conscious choice to put one’s own mental health and wellbeing ahead of unneeded drama .
In the second verse, Cupnoodle starts looking for real connections while accepting her imperfections and be true to herself. The song’s lyrics, “Trust me I know I’m no angel.” And “Not asking for perfect people,” emphasize the idea of embracing one’s actual self and looking for genuine connections.
