Cue the cabin door creaking open and a flood of light pouring in because Bon Iver is back, and dears, they brought feelings!

After six long years, Justin Vernon’s Grammy-winning brainchild, Bon Iver, has emerged from the woods with a brand-new album, SABLE, fABLE, now streaming on all platforms via Jagjaguwar. It’s a soul-stirring 12-track journey that starts in the thick of heartbreak and winds its way toward something brighter, bolder, and beautifully unfiltered.

Think of it as Bon Iver’s ultimate transformation arc: SABLE drips with introspection and raw ache, while fABLE swings the emotional door wide open to let the joy (and sunroof-screaming pop hooks) in. And it’s all wrapped in a sonic blanket woven from love, grief, healing, and hope — the kind of stuff you feel in your bones.

The indie folk band got some real gems here. First, there’s the emotionally rich “Everything Is Peaceful Love,” the slow-burn longing of “Walk Home,” and the empowering self-love anthem “If Only I Could Wait,” featuring the incredible Danielle Haim. And just when you think you’re on the other side, “There’s A Rhythm” brings you back to reality: healing’s a winding road, but every step is worth it.

Speaking of journeys, Vernon’s not just dropping tunes. He’s undoubtedly creating whole worlds. From special IRL experiences like fABLE sPACEs (a global, open-air listening event series from KL to Manila) to tasty, artsy collabs with Southeast Asia’s coolest hangouts in Naga House and HATS Bar, SABLE, fABLE is becoming a multisensory moment. A vibe. A whole era.

And let’s not forget the dazzling cast of collaborators behind the curtain. We’re talking Dijon, Jacob Collier, MonoNeon, Danielle Haim, Flock of Dimes, and more. All guided by Vernon’s signature sound and soul. It’s all love, all layered, all Bon Iver.

So, whether you’re deep in your feelings or dancing through them, SABLE, fABLE is your new go-to soundtrack for moving on, making sense of the mess, and maybe even falling in love again.
