Rabin Angeles Makes Hearts Flutter with His Kilig-Inducing Rendition of “Tibok”

P-Pop

The second lead syndrome is truly far from being over, as Rabin Angeles is true to this statement with his own rendition of one of the most listened-to kilig songs, “Tibok.”

More than being known for his cute and charismatic visuals as the second lead of Viva One Entertainment’s rom-com series Ang Mutya ng Section E, Rabin Angeles’ musical talent has also come to light. Dubbed as his theme song to co-star Ashtine Olviga [played Jay-Jay], “Tibok” screams the whole personality of his portrayed character Yuri Hanamichi—he made the song his own.

Rabin Angeles Tibok

The cover of Earl Augustin’s hit song “Tibok” is a total match for Rabin. In his unique style, raspy voice and the mellowed-down music made everyone swoon over him all over again.

As fans would say, “walang magmomove on!” If you are looking for the perfect quiet admirers out there that hit the ‘pasulyap-sulyap’ move, this is the tune to add to your playlist—Rabin’s version of “Tibok” is the one-stop press, hit, and play.

The song “Tibok” is a perfect reflection of the nuances of unspoken love, capturing the delicate emotions of the second lead character, Yuri Hanamichi.

Rabin Angeles’ interpretation of the track adds another dimension to his character, elevating the already well-loved song to something truly special.

It’s more than just a song; it’s an expression of longing and unrequited love that many can relate to.

The success of “Tibok” in the hands of Rabin is a testament to his versatility as an artist. While his on-screen persona as the second lead may be filled with charm and subtle vulnerability, his musical talents add a new dimension to his appeal. His voice, paired with the stripped-down production of the song, allows for an intimacy that listeners can’t help but fall in love with.

One hopeless romantic’s advice to another: if you can’t really confess your feelings to your crush, then maybe sending this song to them is a conversation starter?
