Viral P-Pop Group GAT to Release Debut Single, “Kakaiba”

They’re here! P-pop boy group GAT is set to release its debut single, which surely will capture listeners’ hearts.

Pinoy pop group GAT (Gawang Atin ‘To) is set to release their upcoming debut single, following a series of teasers on their social media accounts. The single will be released on August 1.

The first teaser, which was released on GAT’s official page, shows an image of a starry night sky and a sound clip that includes the lyrics “Kakaiba ang tama ko sa’yo,” indicating that the song may be about a strong romantic attraction.

The members of the group are GAT Hans, GAT Michael, GAT Derick, GAT Charles, and GAT Ethan. Their cover of MMJ’s original hit song, “Daleng Dale,” was the first thing that made them go viral. Their pre-debut single gained international recognition thanks to the song’s role as the official music and opening song of the outstanding Viva One series Ang Mutya ng Section E.

Notably, four of the group members also play actors in the show. While GAT member Ethan David also stars in Seducing Drake Palma, another Viva One production. GAT will participate in the upcoming VIVA ONE VIVARKADA: The Ultimate Fancon and Grand Concert on August 15, 2025. As a result of their involvement in both shows.

GAT “Daleng Dale” popularity

International celebrities and internet users joined the dance craze as a result of Ang Mutya ng Section E’s success and their performance of “Daleng Dale.” Since then, GAT has made a lasting impression on the P-pop industry. Also, fans are eagerly awaiting their debut song. Fans also shared their joy and showered GAT with supportive remarks in the comment section.

Meanwhile, listeners may stream GAT’s music on Spotify and listen to their pre-debut songs. Such as “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit,” which was originally performed by James Reid; “Marikit,” which was originally performed by Juan Caoile and Kyleswish; and “Rainbow,” which was originally performed by South Border, while they wait for their debut single.
