Following their chart-topping hit “Raining in Manila,” the eight-member pop-funk band Lola Amour is ready to set the stage for a new era embracing sunnier vibes, kicking off with a two-stop album concert in April.
The first stop will be at Circuit Event Grounds, Makati on April 13 with Cup of Joe, Any Name’s Okay, and PLAYERTWO for the after-party. A groove-filled journey to Draft Punk, Cebu will follow on April 27 with surprise Cebuano acts.
Lola Amour has unveiled the release date of the much-awaited self-titled debut album, set to drop on April 10. Fulfilling a promise made to their fans back in 2019, the band passionately emphasizes that this album is the ultimate creative playground. It is a canvas where they wholeheartedly express themselves through sonic creativity, drawing inspiration from their life experiences.
The band revealed the album’s visual identity during the press event, with each of the member’s quirkiness in mind. “We just really wanted to portray joy, fun, and playfulness sa album art to bring out the band’s playful personalities,” they stated.
