Talented singer-songwriter, KYLIX, has released his latest single entitled “Another Life.” This new track explores the complicated feelings of loving someone you cannot be within this lifetime. It draws heavily from personal experiences and the moving inspiration of Erik Matti’s 2001 film Sa Huling Paghihintay.
KYLIX provides an intensely emotional performance of the song’s powerful chorus, which goes: “There’s no goodbye / If there was no you and I / I’ll find you in another life / And I won’t say goodbye.”
The chorus emphasizes an unmatched dedication while powerfully narrating the enduring essence of real love. The song expresses a raw, unwavering commitment to patiently await one’s soulmate, regardless of time’s relentless march forward. The lyrics of the song are explained by KYLIX in a statement as follows: “Para ito sa taong mahal na mahal mo na mahal ka rin naman niya. Pero for some reason kayong dalawa lang ang nakakaalam nun. Hindi talaga pwede maging kaya in this life.”

He continues, “Hahanapin mo siya kahit makailang buhay ka pa. Hanggang umabot ka sa buhay na sana pwede na maging kayong dalawa.”
