Front Acts: Jelo, Gelo, Levi, Dana Paulene, Xerenade, and Midnight Talks
The evening began with performances from solo busker Jelo, the shy yet talented Gelo, and the live band Levi from Laguna. They entertained Joewahs with a mix of covers and original songs, including unreleased songs such as Jelo’s “Sayonara” and Levi’s “Pansin.”
Following their set, upcoming Viva artist Dana Paulene hyped Joewahs with her soulful covers and originals. She performed “Uod Love Story,” inspired by a Reddit post that asked, “Will you still love me even if I’m a worm?” Followed by her latest single, “Akong Ako,” a heartfelt track about finding someone who will love you at your worst—hoping everyone will find that kind of love too.
Right after Dana’s performance, Cup of Joe finally took the stage and launched their much-awaited Joekay Joekay sale. Each member brought in outfits and official merch from previous events, personally engaging with Joewahs as they sold the items, making the experience more intimate and memorable.
As the night continued, Joewahs were serenaded by Viva’s promising new vocal boy group, Xerenade. Staying true to their name, they won hearts with a medley of cover songs, including a standout performance of “Miss Miss.” The energy stayed high with Midnight Talking, who performed both cover songs and their original song, “Oh Baby!”
