Day 1 of the ‘SILAKJOE’: Official Joewas Fanzone Event featured performances by local musicians Meg Zurbito, Amiel Sol, Rhodessa, Matt Willson, Bianca, CARLO, and Dana Paulene ahead to the historical concert. Also, a few lucky Joewahs also had the opportunity to showcase their talents.

The band members perform “Wag Na Lang” with a hint of choir. The fans set the mood for the evening’s garden stage theme with their high-pitched yells. The stage is more aesthetically beautiful when Cup of Joe wears red attire that matches their concert theme.

Additionally, the band performed their widely recognized song “Patutunguhan.” This is when the stages of grief begin, with the band performing “Bagyo” and “Wine” for the denial stage. The band then performs “Kanelang Mata” and “Bubog” for the anger stage, and “Pahina” and “Siping” for the bargaining stage.

Special performances from special people

Of course, special stages appear more and more as some Filipino artists join them onstage. Keanna Mag, the artist who has been with Cup of Joe since its inception, performed “Lahat Ng Bukas” first.

As the evening became more lively, Gian, Xen, and CJ, who were the members of Pink Penoy Club. Took the stage and began playing Eraserheads songs like “Alapaap,” “Pare Ko,” and “Huling El Bimbo.” The three of them joke that they named their group to go along with other “Pink” groups.

Pink Soda, which consists of Rapha and Gab, sang “Heartbreak Girl,” and their performance was made even more memorable by the addition of Filipino singer-songwriter Maki, who performs “She Looks So Perfect” and his hit song “Namumula.”

On top of that, the band performed “Tingin,” one of their most well-known songs. With none other than Janine Teñoso, who looked stunning as always as she walked onto the stage in a white dress.

Mind-blowing experiences

Everyone is delighted by the musical experience as vocalists Gian and Rapha walk on stage and interact with the audience before making their way to the opposite side of the coliseum. The singers captivated the audience throughout their performances of “Tataya” and “Misteryoso,” leaving them entranced.

As they approached the opposite side stage, the excitement grew as the drone moved across the coliseum, while the vocalists held it over. During the depression stage, they sang “Multo,” “Nag Iisang Muli,” and “‘Di Maari” while the bonfire was lit on stage, continuing the stages of grief.

The final step is the acceptance stage, which comprises their well-known songs “Sagada,” “Hinga,” “Silakbo,” and an encore song called “Mananatili.”

SILAKBO isn’t just a show, album, or song; it’s a state of mind where nothing is stopping you from experiencing it. For the second time, Cup of Joe tells us to feel all of our feelings.

Moreover, Cup of Joe expressed appreciation for their family for their unwavering support. Their friends who attended made an effort to attend their concert.
