It’s the second work of the THEORY trilogy, and I believe this would be the biggest in terms of depth out of the whole series. I hope this album can support those who are sailing each life’s journey while maintaining their values and dreams.” – YOUNHA

After the release of her sixth album, End Theory, her seventh album, Growth Theory, delves into the concept of growth, exploring the lessons a girl learns through her connections with various subjects during her remarkable journey. The album consists of 10 songs, each carefully crafted and placed to bring Growth Theory to outstanding cohesion.

  1. “맹그로브 (Mangrove tree)”
  2. “죽음의 나선 (Antmill)”
  3. “케이프 혼 (Attention!)”
  4. “은화 (Silvering)”
  5. “로켓방정식의 저주 (Curse for the rocket formula)
  6. “태양물고기 (Sunfish)”
  7. “코리올리 힘 (Coriolis force)”
  8. “라이프리뷰 (Life review)”
  9. “구름의 그림자 (Part of cloud)”
  10. “새녘바람 (East wind)”

The first five tracks describe the fear of a mysterious world and the courage to break that fear. On the other hand, the sixth and lead track, “태양물고기 (Sunfish),” is a rock song. “Sunfish” tells the listeners that it is alright to walk on the path you truly believe in, no matter what others think or say. Finally, the album’s last four tracks narrate the discovery of dynamic emotions, experiences, and courage at the end of the journey as a new person.
