South Korean singer SOYOU urges us to talk about wild dialogue with her music scene return, “PDA.”
One of our favorite female voices of 2nd gen K-Pop, Soyou, is officially back with her new music, “PDA.“ Released on July 16, 2025, “PDA” marks the singer’s first release after moving to indie label Magic Strawberry Sound.

In “PDA,” Soyou sings about “Public Display of Affection,” or performing acts of intimacy and affection in the presence of other people. While the vibe and style are different from what she has shown us in the past, Soyou is still able to deliver a great song. “PDA” showcases Soyou’s versatility and reminds us of her top-notch vocals.
What best describes “PDA” is that it’s a sonically appealing track, delivered with Soyou’s alluring vocals, and wrapped within an aesthetic music video. Whether you’re a new fan or not, it’s a must-add to your summer playlist!
“PDA” is produced by Junggigo, Soyou’s labelmate—and newly appointed CEO—at Magic Strawberry Sound. The two artists previously collaborated on the 2014 hit single, “Some” (feat. Lil Boi).
